Senior Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team at Staatsbosbeheer. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement process, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and providing expert advice on contract management.
About the RoleThe Senior Contract Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing and coordinating the procurement process, including tendering, contract award, and contract management;
- Ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, including EU procurement directives and Dutch legislation;
- Providing expert advice on contract management, including contract drafting, negotiation, and administration;
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including procurement teams, contract managers, and legal advisors;
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies to ensure effective and efficient procurement processes.
Staatsbosbeheer is a leading organization in the field of nature conservation and management. We are responsible for managing and maintaining over 270,000 hectares of nature reserves and forests in the Netherlands. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business administration, or economics;
- At least 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field;
- Proven expertise in contract management, including contract drafting, negotiation, and administration;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A salary of €4024-€6110 per month, depending on experience and qualifications;
- A 16.5% individual choice budget (IKB) to spend on additional benefits, such as extra leave or training;
