Risk Management Specialist

Hunkemoller seeks a detail-oriented Risk Management Specialist to lead loss prevention activities, ensuring operational excellence and driving performance across regions.

As a key member of our international headquarters team, you will oversee various territories, focusing on store operations. Your role will involve leading audits, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth store audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Analyze audit results, identifying trends by store, region, or territory, and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance loss prevention practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies aligned with global best practices, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate instances of theft or fraud, addressing invisible shrinkage, booked shrinkage, and discrepancies in freight received.
  • Facilitate training sessions to address identified issues and enhance team capabilities.
  • Communicate regularly with regional management, conducting quarterly review meetings and providing mentorship to enhance loss prevention knowledge and capabilities.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a minimal HBO/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in both English and Dutch (written and spoken).
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a small team, with a strong focus on results and data-driven decision-making.
  • Possesses budget ownership skills and a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly accurate in task execution with excellent communication skills to effectively convey insights and recommendations.
