Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Specialist to join our team at Reclassering Nederland. As an Internal Control Expert, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our financial and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective internal control systems to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement control measures and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to management and staff on internal control best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, and ensure our internal control systems remain aligned with best practices.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective internal control systems.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
