Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Applications Manager to join our team at Shimano. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and articulating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our IT business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prioritize the backlog of features with business and IT stakeholders to align with our regular release schedule.
- Develop and deliver core ERP capability offerings and new technologies to drive business value.
- Accountable for program/project financial targets and the implementation, measurement, and continuous improvement of IT programs and operations.
- Partner with business process owners, information management, and other IT teams to drive alignment on goals, objectives, and delivery of innovative solutions.
- Drive strategic organizational and people development activities, including recruiting, retaining, and developing leaders across Shimano Europe.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to proactively bring new capabilities to our applications product line.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration.
- Successful track record of driving business value through information technology and delivery of ERP programs.
- Experience working with multiple competing stakeholders and priorities.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ERP program management, application design, and support within a sales/marketing driven company.
- Process, data, and configuration knowledge of core ERP modules, with mandatory experience in SAP (preferably S/4 HANA) and JDE migration.
- Knowledge of major surrounding platforms and integrations, including APS, SNC, WMS, TMS, and BI from SAP and Oracle.
- End-to-end supply chain/operations/finance experience, with fluency in the SCOR model.
- Experience managing multi-location teams and influencing senior leadership teams.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, including formal presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
