About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our Technical Department at Boskalis' Service Center in Capelle aan den IJssel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our rolling stock, including trucks, cranes, pumps, generator sets, compressors, hydraulic sets, and grabs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair rolling stock to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Work independently and as part of a team to solve technical problems and contribute to the deployment of our equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues from the Service Center to ensure seamless operations
  • Develop and expand your knowledge of mechanical engineering and automotive technology
Requirements
  • MBO level of education in mechanical engineering or automotive technology, or comparable knowledge gained through work experience
  • Basic knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with labor and safety regulations
  • Willingness to learn and take courses as necessary
