Job Title: Digital Solution Architect

At DSM, we are seeking a highly skilled Digital Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our digital architecture team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our company.

About the Role:

We are looking for a talented individual with experience in IT consulting functions, particularly in functional and technical consultancy for IT systems and engineering and software architecture design. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders to understand the business strategy, requirements, objectives, and constraints.

As a Digital Solution Architect, you will be responsible for defining, communicating, and driving the technology landscape covering business capabilities related to Product domain. This includes Product Lifecycle Management, product and service creation, Product portfolio management, Regulatory affairs, Regulatory data and document management, and Product Safety.

You will create a comprehensive technology strategy and roadmap that maximizes existing investments and incorporates innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences. Ensuring the architecture remains adaptable to evolving business requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing a comprehensive high-level architecture for the solution, encompassing all necessary components and addressing the key dimensions of people, process, technology, and data.
  • Establishing and promoting design principles and standards.
  • Evaluating available technology options to recommend the optimal approach.
  • Ensuring the future sustainability of our planet by prioritizing green-IT as part of the target architecture.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in IT consulting functions, particularly in functional and technical consultancy for IT systems and engineering and software architecture design.
  • Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of IT/Digital technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of the main processes and business capabilities in the Product domain.
  • Bachelor's/Master degree in IT or product innovation, creation or manufacturing related study.
  • Experience in understanding the stakeholder landscape and management.
