About the Role

The Commercial Data Governance Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of commercial data at Barentz. This position is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing commercial data to support business strategies, sales performance, and customer insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the collection, processing, and storage of commercial data from various sources, including CRM systems and ERP platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement data management best practices and processes, including data governance frameworks and standards.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with sales, finance, and IT teams to align data strategies with business objectives.
  • Active contact with business organizations to ensure effective data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a key point of contact for data-related needs and decision-making support.
About You

This role requires a Master's degree in data science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field, along with 5+ years of experience in data management, analytics, or a related role. Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, and regulatory compliance is essential.
