Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engagement Principal in Supply Chain Consulting to lead our software delivery initiatives. This role encompasses a blend of supply chain consulting, product development, and AI/ML software delivery, focusing on strategic problem-solving and executive customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in supply chain management during both implementation and pre-sales phases.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Technical teams to guide product enhancements and strategic direction.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external partners, including consultants and system integrators, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding of project requirements among Aera resources, delivering results in alignment with customer expectations and project agreements.
- Oversee project resources, monitor progress through key performance indicators, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Maintain project scope and keep clients focused on objectives.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with potential clients, ranging from initial discovery sessions to detailed presentations.
- Assess and document project requirements for proposals and statements of work.
- Represent Aera as a product delivery expert and trusted advisor.
Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in Big 4 Consulting or strategic software delivery within supply chain operations.
- Proven track record in leading and managing enterprise software implementation projects post-sale.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in a STEM field preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of supply chain best practices, metrics, and core functions including demand, supply, manufacturing, inventory, and order management.
- Experience with enterprise IT and software solutions, including ERP systems (Oracle and SAP), cloud/SaaS applications, and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and planning software, particularly SAP and leading solutions like JDA and Kinaxis.
- Exceptional customer-facing skills, including communication, project management, and relationship building, with a strong sense of urgency in meeting client needs.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer packaged goods sectors is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AI or data science is a plus.
- Experience with agile methodologies and writing proposals/statements of work.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage technical teams.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Compensation
Competitive salary range of €105,000 – €130,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus, meaningful equity, and training in Decision Intelligence and AI/ML software delivery.
