Fashion Apparel Developer

We are seeking a skilled Fashion Apparel Developer to join our team in Amsterdam. As a Technical Developer, you will play a key role in creating high-quality garments for a major US fashion brand.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field, and 1-2 years' experience in technical development of apparel. Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in fashion product development is also required.

Responsibilities include working on multiple products from conceptual drawings to bulk delivery, ensuring the creation of high-quality, beautifully fitting garments. Key skills include pattern cutting, attention to detail, and good communication skills in English.

As a Technical Developer, your main responsibilities will be:

• To oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring top-notch construction and finish.
• To collaborate closely with the Technical Development Manager to capture comments and changes, and communicate these internally and externally.
• To handle daily issues in end-to-end technical development, including spec development, fitting, vendor support & maintaining quality standards.

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
• 1-2 years' experience in technical development of apparel.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in fashion product development (Adobe Creative Suite, PLM, CLO 3D, Excel etc).
• Good communication skills in English – written and oral.
