About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Broker Credit Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Credit Specialties group, you will be responsible for delivering payment, performance, and country risk insurance solutions to clients across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement value propositions for clients, including the creation of written support materials.
  • Drive cross-selling and multi-product promotion to new and existing clients, focusing on trade credit, non-payment insurance, surety, and portfolio solutions.
  • Create engaging content for local Credit Specialties brochures and marketing materials.
  • Promote new initiatives and innovation within the team.
  • Participate in local regulatory discussions and promote Marsh's Credit Specialties offering at industry events.
  • Disseminate market information to local in-country teams and organize training workshops as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date client and prospect lists, track revenue, and ensure operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven commercial skills, ability to communicate effectively with external counterparts, and a strong financial background.
  • 3-7 years of experience in financial services, credit insurance underwriting, or as a broker, with a focus on banks and/or non-bank financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with insurance topics, syndication, and distribution across different asset classes, including trade finance, structured trade & export finance, project finance, commodity finance, and syndication.
  • Strong financial skills, securitization knowledge, and proven experience in trade finance.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with an additional European language required.
  • Multicultural mindset, willingness to travel, and interact with different countries.
  • Operational excellence and attention to detail.
