Olympia is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in the field of aviation maintenance. As a prominent player in the industry, we provide top-quality service for various types of aircraft, including regional jet aircraft and turboprop aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform sheet metal work on aircraft, including repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing damaged sheet metal parts, repairing dents, and performing welding tasks.
- Supervise and coordinate with team members, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Evaluate and estimate modifications, defect rectifications, and other specialized sheet metal repairs.
- Carry out basic repairs, blend outs, and reinforcing repairs, as well as floor beam and frame installations/repairs.
- Conduct structural repairs on floor beams, fuselage skin repairs, including stringers, doublers, and triplers.
- Remove corrosion, evaluate damage, and restore finishes.
- Education and/or experience in metalworking.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to travel abroad.
- Flexibility to work regularly on weekends and evenings.
- A competitive salary between €2700 and €3500 per month.
- A full-time position (40 hours).
- An opportunity to be part of an international organization.
- An opportunity for a direct contract with the client after 6 months of employment.
- 25 vacation days, vacation pay (8%), and pension accrual.
- Travel expense reimbursement: €0.23 per km up to a maximum of 30 km one way.
