Job Description

The Centre People Appointments is seeking a highly skilled Transaction Support Administrator to join their team at their Amsterdam office. This position will be responsible for supporting client transactions, particularly loan and deposit services, as well as concluding loan and time deposit deals, providing market information, and answering customer inquiries.

This role involves independently concluding loan and term deposit deals with customers, providing market information, and answering inquiries from customers. You will fully comprehend commercial strategies toward each customer and strictly act on those when dealing. Administering deals (made/check) and approving deals made by others is also an essential part of this job.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the banking industry in a similar role. They must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make crucial, time-pressured decisions. Advanced Excel skills and fluency in English are mandatory. Any other European language or Japanese is a plus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Independently conclude loan and term deposit deals with customers, provide market information, and answer inquiries from customers
  • Fully comprehend commercial strategies toward each customer and strictly act on those when dealing
  • Administer deals (made/check) and approve deals made by others
  • Sharing information to enhance relationships, business, and profit opportunities
  • Initiate and manage ad hoc projects (e.g., regulatory related)
  • Respond to inquiries/requests from management, Tokyo/regional headquarter related to clients and transactions, liaising and working with relevant staff like relationship managers, operation teams in London
  • Maintain, optimize, and improve process and procedure related to clients' support
  • Coordinate with or hand to appropriate department/team the products/matters brought by clients directly or indirectly
  • Follow instructions related to above from Team lead and Managers
