QC Team Leader: Equipment Qualification and Support

About the Role

The Quality Control Analytical Laboratory at Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Group Leader to oversee the equipment implementation and qualification process. As a subject matter expert in equipment qualification, you will be responsible for planning and executing activities related to the introduction and qualification of new analytical equipment, as well as maintaining existing equipment. Your expertise in problem-solving and analytical thinking will be essential in ensuring the quality and compliance of our analytical testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the team in equipment implementation strategies, ensuring alignment with site SOPs and regulatory guidelines
  • Manage the team in establishing and maintaining quality at the lab, with a focus on enhancing quality throughout the entire laboratory
  • Perform in-depth root cause analyses and problem-solving to resolve equipment-related issues
  • Act as a subject matter expert during regulatory and internal audits
  • Implement equipment that meets business needs and current regulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry, pharmacy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of talent identification, performance management, and succession planning
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of ICH guidelines and GMP documentation
