Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Styling Manager to join our team at the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of styling operations and budgets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and leading a team of Housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing styling operations and budgets, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
- Ensure guest room status is communicated to the Front of House in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work effectively with the Engineering department on guest room maintenance needs.
- Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Ensure all employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Assist in supervising an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space.
- Assist in managing linen inventory and guest supplies, and assist in the ordering of supplies as necessary.
- Assist in supervising Styling and all related areas in the absence of the Styling Manager.
- Observe service behaviors of employees and provide feedback to individuals, continuously striving to improve service performance.

- Have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Have previous experience in leading a Housekeeping team.
- Be flexible in working different shifts (morning, evening, and weekends), which makes your job even more diverse.
- Be a great organizer, with everything under control.
- Be available and approachable for all guests and ambassadors.
The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is a five-star hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam, part of Marriott International. We are currently undergoing a full transformation, with a major investment in the hotel resulting in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant, and rooftop bar & terrace. We are committed to sustainability and aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
