About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at ADM. As a key member of our EMEA Supply Chain Team, you will be responsible for managing the production flow from our production plants and 3rd party suppliers into our warehouses.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales on forecasting and determining production, shipping, and/or rework quantities.
- Enter, follow up, and coordinate purchase orders, as well as coordinate transport.
- Define safety stock settings and manufacturing strategies, and manage inventory, including reducing slow-moving and obsolete stock.
- Manage relationships with logistic service providers, co-manufacturers, and re-packers, and master data support and manage planning parameters in our planning tools.
- Process and cost improvement, and monthly reporting of figures on inventory, service, and costs.
- Support further improvements and implementations of planning systems and other tools, and manage factory supply chain, together with local operations.
- Support local material planning and purchasing, and ad-hoc project management work and support.
Requirements
- HBO degree and APICS qualification preferred.
- 3-7 years of experience in a planning and/or supply chain related field, with knowledge of export/import documentation.
- Experience in Food/Agri-business industry preferred, with broad experience of SAP/JDE or other ERP systems.
- Skilled in Excel & PowerPoint, flexible and stress-resistant, customer-focused, and able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple, competing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills, focused on performance and results, and fluent in English, with Dutch preferred.
