Marine Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Service Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a Marine Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering optimized and efficient Marine solution services around the globe.

Using your expertise, you will be passionate about delivering efficient service performance at the customers' site (mainly Marine and offshore) with a strong focus on coordination, preparation, execution, and reporting of at least the following services:

  • Perform Marine fuel consumption & bunkering related service activities as pre-surveys, surveys, desk-preparation, startups of Marine fuel consumption & Bunkering flow instruments & applications
  • Perform technical evaluations as part of all Marine fuel consumption & bunkering related service activities
  • Solve instrument related malfunctions and commission new instruments / Sea-trials worldwide (Shipyards)
  • Perform FAT tests, inspections, quality verification and preventive maintenance
  • Coordinate and perform field device modifications - Instruction of operating principles
  • Participate in Call-out service (including performing service activities at irregular hours)
  • MID verification and re-verification services & consultancy (training to achieve certification provided)
  • Perform additional services from portfolio
  • Report in a clear and proper way all aspects of the service visit using the appropriate tools and software
  • Maintain an optimal customer and/or colleague focused relationship

You will work closely with the Manager Technical Service to develop your technical and engineering skills, whilst travelling (globally) and working in a phenomenal team.
