We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Protein Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Genmab. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to lead cross-functional teams in protein production, logistics, and supply chain management.



Job Description:



In this role, you will be responsible for leading three functional teams that oversee the entire protein production process, from vector design to logistics. Your primary focus will be on ensuring timely delivery, quality, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You will develop and implement strategic objectives for the protein and cell supply chain, supporting the Discovery goals of Genmab.




  • Lead three functional teams over the entire protein production process.
  • Develop and implement strategic objectives for the protein and cell supply chain.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment, stimulating continuous improvement and knowledge exchange.
  • Support the career development of direct reports.
  • Drive resource planning for the area of oversight, aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and external partners.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with protein and cell supply.


Qualifications and Skills:



To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in biotechnology, bioengineering, or molecular chemistry, with at least 12-15 years of experience in early-stage biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry. Prior leadership experience, particularly in managing cross-functional teams, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also necessary to foster a positive work environment.



You must value a collaborative culture, empower your direct reports, and adapt to new organizational directions while working on multiple projects simultaneously. A Ph.D. in biotechnology or related fields is preferred, but candidates with a Master's degree accompanied by extensive relevant experience may also be considered.



Compensation and Benefits:



The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
