Job Title: System Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at Deutsche Rentenversicherung NOW IT GmbH. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the receipt, processing, and forwarding of documents for the areas of dispatch printing, in-house central printing, and archiving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of data and design of workflows
  • Configuration of standard software and integration into existing or newly created workflows using scripting
  • Server and system administration for hardware and software components used by the team (primarily Suse Linux and Windows Server from 2008 R2)
  • Advising customers on technical issues
  • Maintenance of existing IT solutions and their further development
Requirements:
  • Relevant university degree in computer science or a comparable relevant degree at level 6 of the German Qualifications Framework
  • Knowledge in creating scripts, ideally under Windows and Linux
  • Knowledge of server operating systems Windows (from 2008 R2) and SUSE LINUX and the general conception of workflows
  • Knowledge of JAVA programming as well as web design and the use of Javascript
  • Experience in working in project and working groups and in dealing with customers
