About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Alfa Laval. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing sustainable equipment and installations for the maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software solutions for our Alfa Laval systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate software development velocity with increased quality.
- Develop user interfaces for our systems.
- Work on software development for our Alfa Laval systems.
- Proactively automate processes wherever necessary.
- Understand the complexities involved in the development of software.
- Design system integration tests, setting up CI/CD pipelines to test our software.
- Work with cyber security of our systems.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- University degree or Bachelor of Engineering (e.g. Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation).
- Experience with Python, JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with Git.
- Knowledge of object orientation basics and best practices.
- Knowledge of Angular, HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Having experience with C++, Azure DevOps and scrum is a plus.
- Exposure to PLCs (Structured Text, B&R), related standards and terminology (ISA88, PackML, OPC UA) is a plus.
- Good communicative skills.
