About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Fullstack Java Developer to join our team in Rotterdam. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based applications using AWS Services, Java 11+, Kotlin, NextJS, TypeScript, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
Responsibilities- Design and develop scalable and reliable backend services using Java and other technologies.
- Maintain and improve existing codebases to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software architecture and drive technical decisions.
- Develop and deploy features to production within an agile work environment.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and skill development among team members.
- 3+ years of professional experience with Java, Spring, NodeJS, and AWS.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, security best practices, and REST API design.
- Experience with test automation, contract testing, and test-driven development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- An estimated salary of €65,000 - €85,000 per year, depending on experience.
- A 36-hour workweek with flexible working arrangements.
- 12% personal choice budget (including 8% holiday allowance).
