The PhD position focuses on creating video analysis tools to improve diagnosis accuracy and reduce variability in the classification of hyperkinetic disorders, such as tremor.
Key Responsibilities- Develop deep learning-based video analysis tools for movement disorder diagnosis
- Contribute to the development of computer-assisted diagnostic tools for movement disorders
- Collaborate with the Bernoulli Institute for Mathematics, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Groningen
- Work with a multidisciplinary team exploring hyperkinetic movement disorders, neuroimaging, and AI technologies
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience with deep learning methodologies, preferably with a focus on video analysis or computer vision
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently
