Job Title: Naval Gun Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Naval Gun Software Engineer to join our team at Thales, a leading international technology company. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing advanced fire control systems for naval gun systems.

About the Role

As a Naval Gun Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for our fire control systems, utilizing C++ and other programming languages. You will work closely with our software and system architects to design and implement software components, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software components for fire control systems using C++ and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with software and system architects to ensure software components meet system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and technical notes.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
