Job Title: Financial Risk Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Manager to join our team at Weir Minerals Netherlands. As a Financial Risk Manager, you will be responsible for managing financial risks, collecting receivables, assessing customers, and commercial contract conditions. You will provide advice on when milestones should be billed, manage local banking relationships, and provide dispute management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Initiate and manage the credit management policy
- Prepare work in the field of credit management by organizing commercial kick-offs, organizing efficient and effective debtor handling, and collecting relevant data
- Facilitate the process of customer billing between project management, sales, and external accounting
- Assess new letters of credit, obtain LOC advice from the bank, and advise the Forwarding department
- Look for solutions with customers and the company to conclude an order in the event of reduced creditworthiness
- Check compliance with the general terms and conditions of delivery and maintain contact with customers to guarantee timely payment of the outstanding claim
- Facilitate AR-related escalations from external accounting, including unapplied cash
- Facilitate receivables ageing review meetings with the project management team
- Forecast cash collections and cash flow
- Manage banking relationships with local banks and control access rights

Requirements:

- Completed education on Bachelor or Master degree level, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company or comparable
- Experience in working with SAP
- Fluency in the English language, verbally as well as in writing. Do you also speak Dutch? That's a bonus
