Who You Are

We seek a dedicated Operator who thrives in a dynamic machine park environment.

  • Experience in operating and adjusting CNC-controlled machinery is essential
  • Prior experience in machining operations, particularly milling and turning, is preferred
  • A technical education background is required
  • Relevant work experience as an operator is necessary
  • Proficiency in English or Dutch is required
Your Responsibilities

In the machining department, you will be responsible for the precision machining of various engine components. Each area of the department specializes in different parts, including cylinder heads, camshafts, and engine blocks. As a CNC Operator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Executing machining operations using CNC machines
  • Common processes include milling, turning, drilling, tapping, and grinding
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure optimal machine operation
  • Loading programs, changing tools, and troubleshooting malfunctions
  • Ensuring production processes run smoothly and meet established targets
  • Participating in quality control by measuring and inspecting parts

The work schedule operates in three shifts: day (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), evening (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), and night (12:00 AM - 7:00 AM).

Work Environment

The DAF production facility is expansive, located just outside the city center. It encompasses approximately 900,000 m² and employs over 7,000 individuals. In 2021, our facility produced a remarkable 60,000 trucks, and our latest generation of trucks has been recognized as 'International Truck of the Year 2022'.
