We are looking for a skilled and organized Crew Coordinator to join our team at Clarksons Port Services.

About the role

The Crew Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of crew changes, which are critical for maintaining operational continuity in our clients' offshore projects.

This role demands precision, strong organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach. The coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating logistics, communicating with crew members and clients, and managing administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  1. Coordinating crew changes, including drafting and managing schedules, arranging travel and accommodation, and ensuring visa requirements are met.
  2. Communicating with crew members and clients to provide timely and effective information about schedules, travel arrangements, and other pertinent details.
  3. Managing administrative tasks, including maintaining detailed records, managing expenses, and processing invoices.
  4. Anticipating and addressing changes and potential issues that may arise during crew changes, such as delays, cancellations, or logistical complications.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and requests simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in Dutch and English.
  • Ability to promptly and effectively respond to unforeseen situations and resolve any resulting issues.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and demands.
