Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical Engineer is a key member of the Operations Engineering team in Eindhoven. In this role, you will be part of the fast-growing OE Equipment Team within Operation Engineering, focusing on designing, installing, maintaining, and managing our factory auxiliary equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the equipment team of engineers in creating, maintaining, and expanding the factory tooling fleet, predominantly of electronics and electrical nature.
  • Coordinate tooling projects internally and with external parties, including planning, resource allocation, budget management, and timely execution. Monitor project progress and address any challenges to ensure successful completion.
  • Support technical documentation (TPD) and work instructions (WI's), both regarding Production Systems and Electronic Manufacturing Tooling.
  • Support and maintain contacts at regional, national, and international suppliers and manufacturers. Optimize supplier internal processes and project execution (by evaluating and auditing).
  • Handle and process manufacturing product rejects in collaboration with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Provide hands-on training to factory and service personnel in the area of assembly, system testing, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
  • Education level: BSc Electrical (electrotechniek) / Electronics engineering.
  • Work experience: 5-10 years minimal on similar functions, preferably in tooling/test environment (electronics/electromechanical auxiliary systems and applications).
  • Knowledge of and experience in PLC/PC-based tools and installations; hardware setup and programming languages. Evaluating, advising, and testing of third-party supplied applications.
  • Affinities with PC-based test systems and implemented software applications.
  • Electro technical installations in general, knowledge of required safety certifications.
  • Affinities with production test tooling (external) at suppliers, in the field of validation and requirements.
  • Proven experience as a Project Leader or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Focus on quality control and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a strong focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and in writing). Speaking proficient Dutch is preferred due to extensive communication with regional suppliers and manufacturers.
