Are you an experienced Network Engineer passionate about network configurations, architecture, and related services? At Pink Elephant, you will leverage your independent problem-solving skills in connectivity to support our clients' IT infrastructures.
The Role
What will your responsibilities include?
- Collaborating with your team to provide consultancy services to clients, focusing on Network Security.
- Designing, constructing, implementing, troubleshooting, and reviewing intricate multi-tenant environments in line with ITIL standards.
- Offering recommendations and improvement suggestions to clients regarding connectivity, including drafting change requests when necessary.
- Resolving infrastructure issues, both remotely and on-site, particularly with Cisco ASAs and switches.
- Contributing to the development of knowledge and standards surrounding IT network infrastructures.
The Candidate
We seek someone who enjoys their work and also possesses:
- A proven HBO working and thinking level.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer.
- CCNA and CCNP certifications, or actively pursuing them.
- Expertise in routing (OSPF and BGP), switching, firewalling (Cisco ASA & Palo Alto), and Wi-Fi (Cisco & Extreme Networks).
- Familiarity with Cisco, Aruba Networks, and Extreme Networks.
- Experience in data center migrations.
- Ability to write assessments, migration plans, and project proposals.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
