About the Role

Catawiki is seeking a highly skilled Principal Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our Personalization and Machine Learning strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a highly tailored and engaging user experience across our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Personalization and Machine Learning strategy to drive user engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and data science, to deliver innovative personalization features.
  • Work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that the team is meeting the needs of the company's long-term goals.
  • Drive experimentation agenda on our recommendation/ML models, including working with ML engineers to measure quality and assess the potential impact of new machine learning models.
  • Lead the integration of personalization features across our user experience, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap.
  • Own metrics on models and personalization performance and collaborate with teams to iterate and optimize features based on feedback and data insights.
  • Collaborate with design to ensure a user-centric approach to personalization, emphasizing seamless integration and a delightful user experience.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of product management experience with a proven track record of defining product roadmaps for personalization, product recommendations, search, or other relevant ML-centric products.
  • Outcome-driven with a bias towards action, demonstrating the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals.
  • Possess a sense of urgency and the capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering results within tight timelines.
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed and strategic choices while considering both short-term and long-term implications.
  • Have excellent storytelling abilities, capable of articulating a compelling product vision and strategy to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Have a strong analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data, contributing to data-informed decision-making.
  • Possesses extensive experience in designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and other experimentation methodologies specific to Machine Learning projects.
  • Demonstrated a strong technical understanding of machine learning concepts and applications, from the statistical and mathematical foundations to the practical aspects of turning models into product features.
