We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Support Officer to join our Pet Food team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business activities and contributing to the development of our nutritional and taste business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Relations Management: Be the primary point of contact for internal functions, arranging sales support requests, and handling information, documentation, questionnaires, product quality complaints, sampling, and customer portal interactions.
- Smooth Sales Office Operations: Ensure seamless sales office operations, including system/process management, quotation creation, sales contracts, presentations, folder maintenance, customer visits, marketing events, meeting minutes, sales statistics extraction and analysis, and internal invoice management. Coordinate activities with internal departments, including logistics and finance, to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolution of billing issues.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Research and identify potential new customers within assigned territories or industries. Conduct outbound prospecting activities, such as cold calling and email outreach, to introduce products and services to prospects. Qualify leads and schedule appointments or demonstrations for the external sales team. Follow up with leads to build relationships and move them through the sales pipeline.

- Based on your experience, we will offer you a base salary of € 44,752 to € 63,931 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6.11% my choice budget, and much more.
- A bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent experience in related areas (Marketing, Sales, Customer Service).
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP – Sales & Distribution modules) and CRM systems are required, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet portals.
- A self-starting and team-playing attitude with the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, minimum supervision in a flexible and open-minded manner, while still paying attention to details.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to interact with our customers and other DSM sites/departments/functions at any level.
- Fluency in English, other languages appreciated.
