Transformative Role in ESG Assurance

As a seasoned professional in environmental, social, and governance strategies, you will champion impactful change as an ESG Manager with a focus on carbon accounting. This role is an excellent opportunity to lead the charge in sustainable practices within a collaborative setting.

About the Job
  • Support and manage ESG assurance engagements, including report assurance, readiness services, and other assurance-related activities with a focus on Carbon Accounting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and standardization within the KDN framework.
  • Communicate effectively with executive partners to gain support and excitement for KDN ESG Assurance benefits while addressing potential roadblocks.
  • Roll-out training for sustainability and audit teams.
  • Enable successful deployment and adoption of new services and solutions by being a champion/sponsor.
  • Ensure member firm teams work in compliance with the latest legislation and frameworks.
Your Qualifications
  • Experience in sustainability assurance or related fields, preferably across various sectors such as Chemical and Oil & Gas.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills, with adaptability to different international and cultural environments.
  • Comfortable working flexible hours to accommodate global team schedules.
  • Experience in group audit work with offshore teams and/or collaboration.
  • Knowledge of GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2, and 3.
  • Comfortable traveling domestically or internationally (up to 25%).
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, Italian, French, or German is also appreciated.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, KPMG offers a competitive bonus, fixed expense allowance, working from home allowance, and pension accrual without personal contribution. You will also have access to a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, gym membership, and various well-being programs.
