The Business Analyst is a key member of the Strategy & Transformation Office (STO), reporting directly to the Transformation Lead for the Business Intelligence and Benchmarking program. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand value drivers and assess indicators and data models.
- Create an understanding of operational or business processes and develop models to represent them.
- Analyze data to create actionable insights and work closely with data delivery teams to co-create data products.
- Contribute to the broader roadmap of data-driven value identification across the business.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking, business acumen, problem-solving, data analysis skills, and project management.
- Stakeholder management, soft skills, and the ability to frame up, execute, and drive resolution to complex issues.
- A minimum of 4+ years of work experience in a similar capacity, experience in generating or working with data-driven insights, and working with business and operational processes definition and analysis.
- Consulting experience is a plus, and experience with the logistics, transportation, or mining industry is a plus.
- English fluency written and spoken, and international work experience is beneficial.
- Based in the Netherlands, but willingness to travel.
- Master's degree in e.g., Math, Physics, Engineering, Econometrics, Finance, Business Administration, or similar.
