About the internship


Bayer offers an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in laboratory testing. As a Quality Testing Lab intern, you will work in our state-of-the-art laboratories in Bergschenhoek, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in quality organization and processes.



Key responsibilities

Key tasks and responsibilities


  • Carrying out laboratory activities and service assignments, including preparing bacterial plates, counting seeds, and grinding them.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality and phytosanitary policies.
  • Maintaining the quality of equipment and adhering to the NAL quality certification.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and taking a proactive approach.
  • Supporting laboratory workers during activity execution.
  • Creating a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.


Requirements

What we're looking for


  • MBO level 4 study in laboratory testing or a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality organization and processes.
  • Customer-centric mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and communicate clearly in English.
