Position Overview

As a PCBA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, developing, qualifying, managing, outsourcing, and maintaining various electronic designs for both current and future products. You will also play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of these products in close collaboration with electronics designers and system architects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Engage as a PCBA designer within a multidisciplinary design team.
  • Establish and document requirements for PCBA designs.
  • Oversee the outsourcing of development tasks to co-developers.
  • Conduct trade-off analyses to identify the optimal implementation scenario for new or modified functions.
  • Define, document, and execute tests to verify that the electronics meet the specified requirements.
  • Address IP-block related challenges and manage problem resolution during initial system integration.
  • Contribute to the analysis and resolution of reliability concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Residing in the Netherlands due to lead times.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in designing analog/digital PCBA's.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronics along with foundational understanding of physics, mechanics, and mechatronics.
