About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Plant Physiologist to join our team at Enza Zaden. As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing crop cultivation methods and systems to accelerate the seed-to-seed cycle of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new crop cultivation methods and systems to improve crop yields and quality
  • Conduct research and experiments to optimize environmental conditions and crop cultivation practices
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and innovations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in plant physiology and apply this knowledge to drive business success
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Plant Sciences or related field
  • Strong knowledge of plant physiology, indoor/vertical farming, and open-field conditions
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with statistical software (R or similar) and basic lab skills
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus)
