Strategic Product Manager

About the Role:
Supermicro is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Manager/Buyer for Strategic Products to join our dynamic Purchasing team in the EMEA headquarters in s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute procurement of responsible products based on sales forecasts and market trends, ensuring timely material procurement with a continuous improvement approach to quality and inventory control.
- Interact with internal stakeholders, including product managers, program managers, and sales teams, to maintain healthy inventory levels and promote responsible products to expand company business.
- Review suppliers' roadmaps and pricing trends, recommending the most competitive solutions based on Supermicro's product line and supply availability.
- Prepare forecasts for vendors to ensure prior supply preparation.
- Coordinate and/or organize training and events to promote mainstream products.
- Maintain, improve, and review vendor relationships and performance.
- Daily operations and data maintenance and analysis.
- Other projects and tasks assigned based on business needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business.
- Minimum 3 years of related working experience, preferably in server/workstation hardware or a related industry.
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications, with experience in SAP/MRP systems preferred.
- Excellent English language skills, with Chinese speaking a plus.
- Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong organizational skills and a result-oriented work ethic, comfortable working with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Good mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
