Lead the Kitchen at a Chic Restaurant in Amsterdam

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at a renowned restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and delicious dishes that showcase the essence of French cuisine with a touch of Zeeland flair.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase your culinary expertise and creativity
  • Lead a dynamic kitchen team and mentor junior chefs to achieve their full potential
  • Collaborate with our wine team to create wine pairing menus that complement our dishes
  • Ensure high-quality food standards and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Work closely with our front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or brasserie
  • Strong leadership and culinary skills, with a passion for French cuisine and Zeeland flavors
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
