Clarksons Port Services - Vessel Agency Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vessel Agency Operator to join our team at Clarksons Port Services in Vlissingen. As a Vessel Agency Operator, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and ship crews, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a smooth and efficient port visit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with clients and ship crews to ensure all necessary services are provided
  • Handle formalities such as berth reservation, customs clearance, and requests from clients on board
  • Take care of the interests of the ship's crew, including arranging doctor's visits, taxi transportation, and hotel rooms during crew changes
  • Work closely with the official (port) authorities, suppliers, and other parties involved in the port visit
Requirements:
  • At least an MBO4 level of education and thinking
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in both English and Dutch
  • Proven work experience in the shipping industry and ship agency
  • Experience with customs is a plus
  • A driver's license (B)
