About the Role

The Financial Operations Specialist will provide critical support to the financial department by managing daily finance tasks with a primary focus on financial data analysis and reporting. This role will also involve collaborating with the shared service centre to ensure the efficient operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the processing of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with legal and company accounting guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Finance Manager and the BeNeUK Finance team to drive financial performance and improve financial processes.
  • Maintain accounting controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support financial projects and initiatives, including Sox, audits, and statutory filings.

Requirements

  • A degree in Finance or Economics.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is mandatory. Fluency in Dutch is desirable or at least learning and currently at a B2 Level or above.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of ERP software application MS Dynamics is a plus.
