Technical Superintendent

About the Role

Fugro is seeking a highly skilled Technical Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Nootdorp, the Netherlands. As a Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reliability of our diverse fleet, including Geophysical Research Vessels, Geotechnical Drilling Research vessels, and Inspection vessels.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance is in accordance with applicable rules & regulations, industry standards, and the Fugro Maintenance Strategy.
• Prepare and manage maintenance & repair periods and their budgets.
• Report expenditure on the approved capitalized budget versus expenditure.
• Plan and carry out annual technical assessments and ensure drydocking work orders are prepared for special / renewal surveys.
• Advise on purchasing of materials and/or services in accordance with best economic interests.
• Ensure emergency docking plans and documents are up to date.

Requirements

• Background as Marine Engineer, Automation Engineer, or Mechanical Engineer.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a role with relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of Marine HSE legislation.
• Excellent technical knowledge (Marine mechanical, structural, electrical) and project management and reporting skills.
• Fluent in English both written and spoken.
