We are seeking a highly motivated Data Remediation Consultant to join our team within the Default remediation and Loss Given Default (LGD) data team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for ensuring complete and correct default and LGD related data for modelling purposes.

Job Description

The role involves performing historical default data analysis, data collection, and data enhancement for the wholesale banking portfolios. You will work closely with experts to ensure accurate C&R data for current default cases in the WB portfolio. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements, manage the planning backlog, and support management in delivering on ad-hoc requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform historical data remediation for default cases within the Wholesale Banking portfolio;
  • Work in a team to ensure accurate C&R data for current default cases in the WB portfolio;
  • Contribute to process improvements and help management to coordinate ongoing remediation projects;
  • Support in managing the planning backlog of the remediation teams;
  • Closely interact with colleagues who use remediated default data to build WB credit risk models;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a working knowledge of new definition of default policies and related indicators. You should also be able to understand and reconcile transactions with high accuracy and identify key transactions based on month-to-month outstanding differences. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of Wholesale Banking regular lending products and collateral processes.

A strong analytical mind, critical thinking skills, and excellent writing skills are essential for this position. You should also be proactive and willing to take on coordinative and project management tasks.

We offer a competitive salary tailored to your qualities and experience. The estimated salary for this position is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and location. Benefits include 24-27 vacation days, pension scheme, 13th month salary, and hybrid working opportunities.
