Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at Yacht. As a key member of our Product Lifecycle Management department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Project Coordination: You will work closely with cross-functional project teams and the supply chain management department to identify and implement creative supply chain solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
- Logistics Planning: You will create and maintain project plans, incorporating logistics requirements into design processes and ensuring timely availability of materials.
- Risk Management: You will conduct risk analyses to identify and mitigate logistics risks, ensuring the continuity of our supply chain operations.
- Financial Management: You will manage financial resources for packaging and customer tooling, ensuring effective use of company funds.
- Materials Management: You will proactively manage materials availability by coordinating the timely availability of raw materials and technical product drawings.
- Supply Chain Optimization: You will develop transparent parts supply and demand schedules, creating decision sheets to address late materials and their impact on the supply chain.
- Change Management: You will assess and communicate the consequences of proposed plan changes on the supply chain, aligning and monitoring implementation plans for engineering changes.
- Continuous Improvement: You will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the product life cycle management department, driving improvements within the supply chain.
Requirements
- Education: MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain/Logistics.
- Experience: Up to 7 years of experience in planning, logistics processes, and quality in a high-tech, low-volume environment, including ramping up new products.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, proactive in finding solutions; ability to ensure accountability and drive results; excellent planning and alignment capabilities.
Working Environment
You will be part of a team of 8–12 project coordinators, headed by a team lead, who will guide your personal development and oversee the development of processes within their team. You will spend a significant amount of time in meetings with various stakeholders, including R&D teams and supply chain management.

- Inner Circle: Team leaders and project managers from both product life cycle management and supply chain management.
- Middle Circle: R&D project managers, supplier quality engineers, manufacturing engineers, customer support engineers, and supply coordinators.
- Outer Circle: Configuration change specialists, sourcing leads, purchasers, logistics supply managers, and field modification planners.
