Electrical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Wacker Biotech in Amsterdam. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in planning and delivering capital investment projects in the field of electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver capital investment projects in electrical engineering, including process, instrumentation, and automation.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary capital investment projects led by project leaders from the Corporate Engineering department.
  • Lead mono-disciplinary projects in electrical engineering.
  • Generate and maintain project documentation, including project execution plans, budget overviews, and resource planning.
  • Work with Procurement and Finance to contact and follow-up with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Qualification and Validation group, Process Networks and Systems group, and client department to plan and execute training and handover.
  • Ensure that equipment files and drawings are updated with the latest as-built revisions.
  • Manage project risks and ensure that all formal change control aspects are addressed and followed up.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
  • 5 years or more of relevant working experience, preferably in a Pharma/Biotech company.
  • Independent, organized person with good communication skills.
  • 'Safety first and quality always' mindset.
  • Good level of English.
  • Reside in and be eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
