Job Title: Senior Operational Risk Manager

Triodos Investment Management is seeking an experienced Senior Operational Risk Manager to join their Risk & Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of the Operational Risk Management discipline, further developing and implementing the ORM framework, and advising and challenging in Risk and Control Self Assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Operational Risk Management framework
  • Advise and challenge in Risk and Control Self Assessments
  • Act as second line challenge on changes to the Risk and Control Framework
  • Challenge the design and operating effectiveness of key controls
  • Provide training and awareness sessions on Operational Risk subjects
  • Coordinate the activities of the team and make strategic decisions
  • Form an independent opinion with respect to operational risks
  • Advise staff and management on operational risks pertaining to new or improved products or processes
  • Report to management on non-financial risks
Requirements:
  • University degree, preferably Risk-oriented
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in Operational Risk Management, Third line Audit or Risk Consultancy
  • Broad knowledge of Operational Risk Management, preferably in Investment Management or other financial institution
  • Good command of English, both written and oral
  • Applicants must be living in the Netherlands and be nationals of a European member state or have a valid work permit for the EU
