Job Description

As a Line Operator, you are responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly on the packaging line. You set up the machines, distribute tasks among your colleagues, and keep an eye on things to ensure the process runs smoothly. A malfunction? No problem. You resolve it before it becomes a real problem. You regularly communicate with quality control and the technical department to ensure top-notch quality. It's a varied job: one day you're setting up the machines, the next day you're resolving issues or helping colleagues with questions. You ensure that customers receive exactly what they expect: neatly packaged blueberries without any hassle. Together with your team, you ensure that everything is ready at the end of the day. So everyone can go home with a good feeling.

  • Setting up and operating the packaging machines.
  • Responsibility for task distribution within your team.
  • Resolving issues on the line and machines.
  • Ensuring that hygiene and safety regulations are followed.
  • Discussing packaging standards with quality control.
  • Reporting deviations and problems to the team leader.
  • Ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.

You're not just working with your team, but also regularly communicating with the technical department and other departments. Your goal? Ensuring the packaging line runs smoothly and the quality of the products is top-notch.

Working Conditions

The working hours are in shifted day shifts. One week you start at 06:00, the next week at 11:30 (13:30 in the busy period). If you work the early shift, you'll also work Saturday morning from 06:00 to 15:00.

Requirements
  • You have experience as a process operator in the AGF sector or the food industry.
  • You speak English or German, and if you also speak Polish, that's a big plus.
  • You're willing to work in two shifts (early and late) and don't mind working every other Saturday morning.
  • You have a good technical understanding and can quickly resolve issues.
  • You can work well in a team, but also work independently.
Terms of Employment
  • Salary according to scale D of the CAO Groothandel Groenten en Fruit: between €2,659 and €3,103 gross per month, depending on your experience.
  • 8.33% holiday pay and 26 holiday days with a full-time employment contract.
  • Reimbursement of travel expenses of €0.15 per kilometer, up to a maximum of 30 kilometers one way.
  • The intention to offer you a permanent contract after the temporary employment period.
