Unlock Your Potential as a German Language Manager

As a German Language Manager at Just Eat Takeaway, you will be responsible for creating and improving German texts to connect with our diverse audiences across various channels. Your main goal will be to craft compelling content that resonates with our customers, while ensuring consistency and quality across all our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop source content from scratch in both English and German for local campaigns
  • Transcreate high-profile marketing projects to ensure cultural relevance and accuracy
  • Translate BAU projects to maintain our brand's global presence
  • Review and edit copy delivered by external agencies to ensure high-quality standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define the tone and style for the German language
  • Align with country-specific teams to drive project and campaign success
  • Maintain language-related documents, such as brand voice, glossaries, and style guides
  • Analyze insights to drive quality improvement and mentor internal and external writers

What We're Looking For:

  • Multiple years of experience writing, reviewing, and proofreading in both German and English
  • Strong affinity for brand copywriting and a native speaker of German with fluent English proficiency
  • Broad experience with CAT tools and TMS, as well as excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
