At Radio Holland, we are seeking a skilled Electronics Specialist to join our team in Rio de Janeiro. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining marine electronic radio and navigation systems on board vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair marine electronic equipment, including radars, ECDIS, and communication systems.
- Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other test instruments.
- Perform radio inspections according to IMO and Class authorities.
- Update software and complete service reports.
- Provide technical advice and support to ships' staff.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or equivalent electronics training and experience.
- Strong knowledge of electronics theory and application.
- Good English communication skills.
- Computer skills and GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License preferred.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
