As a Software System Architect at alliander, you play a pivotal role in shaping the energy grid of the Netherlands.
With a strong focus on innovation and customer needs, we develop and manage the energy grid for millions of people. Our team specializes in acquiring and processing time-critical data from substations, providing insight and predictability based on real-time information.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled individual to compose and design system architecture, including substation server software, embedded software, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in Dutch (C1 level).
- Design and implement complex software architectures for real-time systems
- Collaborate with junior developers, providing guidance and coaching
- Ensure data security through OWASP compliance, PEN tests, and other measures
A master's degree in engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, is required. At least 5 years of experience in developing complex software architectures is necessary. Experience with C, C++, Python, and/or JavaScript is also essential.
Salary and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is approximately €85,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive an annual Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 18% (full-time) or 12.8% (part-time) of your gross annual salary, 2% ADV (shorter working hours), and 8% holiday allowance.
