About the Role

NIBC is seeking an experienced Information Security Officer to strengthen its second-line information security activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate the bank's needs, market standards, and regulatory requirements into sound policies, risks, and controls, and maintain these up to date on an ongoing basis.
  • Develop management information, including key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Oversight of the execution of policies.
  • Support the execution of policies, including outsourcing/third-party risk assessments.
  • Awareness and training.

About the Team

The Information Security function is part of the bank's Operational Risk Management (ORM) team, which actively promotes a 'no surprises' operating environment and a transparent and consistent management framework of operational risks across all business units and activities in the Netherlands, Germany, the UK, and Belgium.

Requirements

  • Information Security professional with experience in policies and control frameworks.
  • A background in IT is preferred.
  • Ability to identify and focus on key issues.
  • Professional attitude and innovative mindset.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • Relevant Bachelor's and/or Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
