Key Responsibilities
- Developing heavy-duty diesel engines and aftertreatment systems with a focus on deNOx performance and ECU function calibration.
- Integrating hardware, software, and calibration.
- Discussing and escalating software topics to suppliers.
- Coordinating issue resolution.
- Participating in proof-of-concept testing.
- Continuously improving tools and processes.
- Documenting test results, tool usage, and potential improvements.
- Collaborating in teams to support various projects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
- Strong affinity with internal combustion engines, SCR catalysts, and urea dosing systems.
- Engine testing experience, preferably with heavy-duty truck engines.
- Experience in heavy-duty truck engine calibration is a plus.
- MATLAB experience (modeling and scripting) is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics.
