Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Mobeco Group B.V. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems on our luxury yachts.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with other yacht systems.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for mechanical systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mobeco's quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in yacht or shipbuilding, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations, such as Lloyd's, Solas, and the Large Yacht Code.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
